September 22nd 2015 – We are extremely excited to update you on the progress we’ve been making since launching the newest version of Kigo this past February. Since then, we have welcomed over 400 new customers to the Kigo family. Our focus has been on introducing new features, improving platform performance, and fine-tuning internal processes.
For starters we have significantly improved our Channel Management connectivity with AirBnb, Booking.com, HomeAway, and TripAdvisor networks. In addition to these enhancements we’ve integrated some exciting new Value-Added-Services such as Kigo e-Signature (via DocuSign) and Revenue Management, each designed to help our customers improve operational functionality and increase revenue.
This is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of new features and improved customer service going forward.
Our inspiration is to be a world-class software organization and your trusted partner. In the last year we have made significant strides towards achieving this vision. We also recognize there is still work to be done.
Along these lines, we are reaching out to you today to let you know, effective November 1st, we are asking that you begin paying current pricing. These are the same rates new customers have been signing up with. Most importantly, it will help us ensure we are delivering a new standard of service that’s to be expected with a world-class software company.
That said, we recognize you might currently be paying a reduced rate in comparison to our new pricing. As a growing business, this may have been done for a number of reasons and we hope that you have been able to see the business benefit of choosing Kigo as your partner. As our first customers, you weren’t just a “sale – closed – won,” you’re a critical factor in the success of this business, and the reason we have been able to create positive advancements in our industry. In order to continue this success and provide exceptional customer service, we must standardize previously reduced pricing across our customer base in order to keep with our new goals to better service you, our partners.
In the next several months, we will begin reaching out to you about migrating to our new platform. As valued customers, we want to make the transition to the new platform as easy as possible; especially around data migration and new product learning. In the meantime, we are asking that you understand the reason behind this email. Believe us when we say the decision to standardize customer pricing was not done without agonizing over the right time to do it. We value your relationship and wouldn’t want to do anything to lose it. The fact that we’re enforcing new pricing should therefore be taken only one way — that it’s necessary for the health and continued success of the product that we hope you have come to love and depend on.
