AirBnB launches first major ad campaign
Although AirBnB have previously conducted small advertising campaigns, this Tuesday they launched their first ever major advertising campaign costing a staggering $2 million. Their 5 minute video captures the creation of 50 birdhouses based on real AirBnB locations. AirBnB state in the description that “This film is a celebration of our passion for travel and the kind of hospitality that makes people feel at home anywhere.”
If you haven’t seen the video already we recommend you watch it, the delivery of this campaign is really beautiful. And whats more, this campaign is an excellent move for those in the vacation rental industry; it will heighten awareness of alternative lodging to vacationers even more so.
